Welcome to Property Jaankari ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, mobile experience and services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account, browsing listings, posting a property, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.

1. Who Can Use the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to register an account or transact on the Platform. By using the Platform, you confirm that the information you provide during registration is accurate, current and complete.

2. Nature of the Platform

Property Jaankari is a property listing and discovery platform that connects property owners, builders, agents and prospective buyers/tenants. We are an intermediary — we do not own, build, sell, broker or manage any property listed on the Platform, and we are not a party to any transaction, agreement or communication between users.

3. Property Listings & Verification

• Listings marked "Verified" have passed our internal document and detail checks at the time of verification. Verification is not a guarantee of ongoing accuracy, ownership, title clarity, or legal compliance of the property.
• Sellers, owners, builders and agents are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information, images, pricing and documents they upload.
• We recommend all users independently verify property documents, RERA registration, ownership records and site conditions before making any payment or entering an agreement.

4. User Responsibilities

• Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
• Do not post false, misleading, duplicate or unauthorized listings.
• Do not use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose, including harassment of other users.
• Do not attempt to scrape, copy or republish Platform content without written permission.

5. Payments & Subscriptions

Certain features (such as premium listings, featured placement, or subscription plans) may require payment. All fees are shown before checkout and are non-refundable once the service has been activated, except where required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase.

6. Reels, Media & User Content

By uploading photos, videos, reels or other content to the Platform, you confirm you own the rights to that content or have permission to share it, and you grant Property Jaankari a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and promote that content on the Platform and its marketing channels.

7. Intellectual Property

The Property Jaankari name, logo, design, layout and platform software are the intellectual property of Property Jaankari and may not be copied, reproduced or used without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Property Jaankari shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from: (a) reliance on listing information provided by third-party users, (b) any transaction or agreement entered into between users, (c) property disputes, title issues or misrepresentation by a seller/agent/builder, or (d) temporary unavailability or technical issues on the Platform.

9. Third-Party Links & Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, payment gateways or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party.

10. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, posts fraudulent listings, or misuses the Platform, without prior notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
